As we come to the end of 2020, no one has escaped from the many upside downs this year -- from our business, career, personal lives as well as our spiritual lives. What is pertinent is that most of us have found ourselves confronting things we have swept aside, not wanting to face them, perhaps for too long. People on personal development and/or spiritual paths are now at a point where we know we cannot go further without some form of looking back at our emotional baggage.
This is affecting people all across the globe and has been predicted that this would happen just a year ago, in one of my classes with the students in the Inner Soul School.
If you're going through emotional pain, emotional trauma or an emotional crisis, do not sweep these under the carpet any longer, it will have a deep long term impact on your health and well being if you do not address them soon. The Great Conjunction of Jupiter & Saturn happening on 21 Dec the Winter Solstice has great significance on us all.
As I'm not an expert on Astrology, I will not attempt to go there. But what I can speak of are the energies of these planets and how they can impact us. This conjunction is of great significance as it represents a dawn of something new, with new energies and new opportunities.
HOWEVER, there is a BIG HOWEVER, this will only be beneficial if we have made room in our energy, our mindset, our life, our emotional well being for this new dawn. Which means whatever baggage we have been holding on will be magnified many times over -- from our childhood issues/trauma, relationship trappings, issues with whoever in our life, including self. The emotional aspect of our lives will be greatly impacted. And if there is a lack of self-awareness, life will make sure we become aware.
The perspectives we have been holding on to, being rigid and not able to change the way we see things will be impacted as well. We will literally have our lives turned upside down just so we can see more accurately. We will feel this as emotional upheaval as parts of us hang on to the old.
As Jupiter and Saturn are two of the largest planets in our solar system and for them to conjunct or meet, as seen from Earth, they will be the brightest star, also known as the Christmas Star, the same conjunction happened during the birth of baby Jesus.
Some people have said to me, what's the big deal, they are only planets circling around the sun. Well, the big deal is this: If the earth, being our home planet has such a gravitational pull on us, and that the moon controls the tides of the oceans, we humans, being puny and insignificant in the grand scheme of things, you think we will not feel the impact of the two largest planets joining forces and coming to us at such a close range? There is definitely a big pull on us, whether we like it or not. [Just like not liking gravity doesn't mean gravity is not going to affect you, wake up buddy!]
And for this conjunction to happen on Winter Solstice which is one of the most spiritually significant days of the year, celebrated by many faiths, cultures and traditions, says a lot.
Energetically, Jupiter represents philosophy, religion, spirituality. It is also the planet of optimism, expansion, healing, growth and miracles. Saturn, on the other hand, represents responsibility, restriction and long term lessons. So the combination of these two energies could significantly mean a reset. This forces us in a way to reset the way we think, feel, and interact, and manifest in our physical world.
Every aspect of our lives will be impacted, if 2020 was a prelude to these big changes, we can expect more of what has been happening in 2020 and hopefully clear out the old and welcome the new in the next few decades.
So, do what we must, because nothing escapes, and inward we must go as well, to be completely honest with ourselves on what we have been trying to hide from, or hide away, and bring what is in our own darkness into the light to acknowledge, to be honest, and to heal eventually.
Do check your local news for how and where you can sight the Christmas star!
I would like to wish you a happy Christmas and may this season be a wonderful inner journey to grow and learn.
Blessings & love,
